I didn’t realize how chilly Laos is at this time of the year. Is it because it’s the Northern area? Or is it the altitude? I know that you didn’t bring any winter clothes…
Yes, northern Laos is chillier than the south, both due to latitude and altitude, but chilly is a relative term. Locals are putting on sweaters when I’m still hot in my t-shirt. My jacket was more than warm enough for the early morning chill, even without a sweater underneath.
