More Karni Mata

Pascal on the Rat Temple video:

This clip gets up close and personal in the presence of holiness. I for one was relieved that they did not worship large, hairy, jumping tarantulas with venomous fangs.

Figuring out the right settings for high definition (HD) on Youtube took a couple hours. It was well worth the time.

Watch in HD / low res

Having the movement and sound associated with the travel experience adds a great new dimension to the stories, poetic descriptions, information and photos. Looking forward to more …

PS – The HD is great. Glad you got it figured out.

This was great, agree with your dad’s comments above, love the sound, look forward to more videos. Great job capturing this, very realistic, so much so that I have confirmed, I completely appreciate and respect the cultural experience and beliefs associated with this temple, but for personal reasons, I will take tarantulas ANY day. On the other hand, maybe an experience like this would cure my insane fear of rodents. Great post

Just had my lunch … and now watching a rat temple documentary.. in HD.

This clip is rated R because of the # of rats in it.

But I must say the rats are looking a little cute towards the end of the clip – only because they reminded me of my dog. I call my dog a giant rat. :)

Rated R for Rats, eh? lol

Pascal, needless to say, you’re a genius. :)

Great video, this is the temple where they worship the rats, right? – I remember reading about this place in Autobiography of a Yogi or Master of the Himalayas, I can’t remember which one, but never got to visit it.

Your explorations amaze me! The photography is supreme, and music very well suited.
I love your interactions with the children and the many whom you photographed. Well done Pascal and Gabriel!!
